Acupuncture Case Study – Burning sensation on Spine

January 17, 2014

I recently treated a middle aged woman who had a burning sensation running down her upper spine, from about the bottom of her neck until about 1/3 the way down her back.

Due to a small logistical problem I could not give her a proper treatment on her first visit, so we did a full review of her history and the problem, but a quick treatment of only two needles to get started. the intention was to do a proper treatment in a few days.

So a few days later, she returns to incredible results. The pain is 98% gone and she is thrilled.

There is more work to do, but a simple trigger point treatment is all I did on the muscles of the upper back and lower neck.
