Computer Neck

December 3, 2013

Are you a high user of a computer? Do you have pain in your neck and shoulders?

You need to fix the underlying problem.

You need to work on your posture, maybe your need new glasses or perhaps change your screen resolution. Maybe it’s your chair or screen height. It’s probably your posture habits.

In my acupuncture practice, I like to work with people in two ways : To treat the pain and work with my patients to fix the actual problem.

As much as possible, I stay out of the treat the symptom school of thought. Ideally I’d never treat the symptom beyond chasing it from the body, but for many people, it’s the way they operate.

The symptom here is the pain. The problem is the posture.
